Brand Repositioning / Branding and Messaging / Website and Sales Collateral Development

Led AVIT's leadership team in a time-sensitive brand repositioning sprint, delivering a newly documented brand value positioning, sales collateral, and new website (via Dorsey Studios) on time and on budget.

Results: These efforts effectively supported AVIT's rapid growth and expansion objectives, contributing to elevating them from a regional to a national service provider.

Aroma Expresso Bar Canada: Premium Cafe Franchise Network (Food and Beverage, Canada)

Brand Elevation and Strategic Consulting Engagement

I worked closely with the founder and senior management for more than three years, to elevate the Aroma brand in the Canadian market by, in part, focusing on supporting the enhancement of Aroma’s menu with a new focus on wholesome, clean ingredients, introducing a new premium pricing model, and spearheading a targeted, omnichannel brand awareness campaign.

During the pandemic, I also established and managed the crisis response team responsible for all information gathering and communications around health and safety, government support programs, and related franchisee operational considerations. I also established partnerships with in-community, Black non-profit organizations, as part of my leadership role in developing Aroma's foundational equity, diversity, and inclusion strategic framework.

Results: I successfully contributed to elevating the Aroma brand in the Canadian market, which led to exponential growth in revenue and profits, a successful premium re-positioning of the brand in the category, increasing awareness in the marketplace, and ensuring 99% of all franchisees were able to weather the pandemic and keep their doors open.

First Inflection:  Mobismart Mobile Off-Grid Power & Storage (Renewable Energy, Canada)

Brand Evolution / Demand Generation / Strategic Planning. I first engaged with First Inflection, a business advisory and investment group, which I connected to an early-stage investment opportunity with Mobismart. Following a monetization event, I was retained to provide management consulting expertise to Mobismart, including the formal establishment of their brand, the development of demand generation and prospecting strategies, the customization of their CRM and CMS systems, and the direction of a third-party lead generation team focused on activating the North American marketplace targeting the multibillion-dollar construction industry.

Results: In the first six months of my engagement with Mobismart, I drove significant prospecting traction, resulting in the exponential growth of qualified opportunities with billion-dollar North American construction brands. Leveraging my creative agency, Dorsey Studios, I also directed a successful re-branding initiative that delivered a suite of on-brand marketing collateral, e-marketing campaigns via Mailchimp, and expanded brand reach via social media channels.

Boychuk Fuller: Leading, Interior Architectural Design Agency (Design, Canada)

Strategic Planning and Foundational Brand Development: Partnered with Boychuk Fuller's founders to conduct comprehensive quantitative and qualitative research, along with a thorough competitive analysis. These insights formed the foundation for the studio's inaugural strategic plan, which aimed to establish a robust framework for driving brand growth and targeted market expansion.

Results: Delivered a comprehensive and actionable foundational plan that served as a blueprint for scaling the business. This plan encompassed strategies for branding and communications, driving revenue growth, and optimizing operations, empowering the company to take the next steps confidently.
